CORE Programs

Recent Graduate | 3 Rotations | 2 Years

What is Core?

A two-year enterprise rotational program designed to develop early-career professionals into future leaders through immersive experiences across Finance, Cybersecurity, and Technology. Participants complete three rotations featuring hands-on project work, mentorship, and targeted development opportunities that build technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability.

Program Experience

Onboarding

Participants will start their ERP experience with a week-long orientation. During orientation, they will hear from leaders at the company; network with each other and program alumni; and get an introduction to the telecom industry landscape.

The orientation experience gives participants the opportunity familiarize themselves with the company, the RLP program and their cohort ahead of joining their first rotation team the following week.

Rotations

Participants will have four distinct team experiences over the course of their time in the program, 4 six-month rotations. These rotation assignments are designed to provide hands-on experience, meaningful work and exposure to diverse business challenges.

Development Sessions

Throughout the program, ERP team plans development sessions where the entire cohort comes together to dive deeper into an area of the business, participate in group projects, network and strengthen their leadership

Career Coaching

Your program manager serves as a resource to support your professional development and coach you during your rotational experience.

Cohort Experience

Being a part of a rotational program is a unique experience.

You will have a built-in network of people who will understand it and be in your corner for the rest of your professional career.

Let’s talk next steps

CORE is designed to build on early-career experiences across Comcast, with the ERP Internship Program serving as the primary pipeline into CORE. While ERP interns receive priority consideration, additional opportunities may be available to other eligible Comcast interns and external candidates based on program needs. Because candidates may enter the CORE recruitment process through different pathways, selection steps may vary based on prior experience with Comcast.

  1. Apply

Explore available opportunities and apply to the CORE program track that best aligns with your interests and experience through the Comcast Careers website.

  2. Candidate Review

Following your application, the ERP team will review your background, experience, and previous engagement with Comcast to determine the appropriate next steps in the selection process.

  3. Selection Process

Qualified candidates will move through a selection process tailored to their pathway into CORE. Depending on prior experience with Comcast, this may include an interest form, interviews, or other opportunities to learn more about your skills, experience, and interest in the program.

  4. Final Consideration

Candidates who advance will be considered for CORE opportunities based on their experience, program alignment, and readiness to begin their career at Comcast.

  5. Decision

Following the selection process, candidates can expect to hear from the ERP team regarding the status of their candidacy and next steps.

Hear from former participants

  • “This program has given me the opportunity to learn about and experience parts of a large business that I normally wouldn't, which has helped round out my professional profile. I find the panels and talks from leadership, both cyber and non-cyber, to be helpful in easing any anxiety that I have about my career path. Further, I've been able to expand my network significantly by connecting with fellow COREs - which, as leadership mentions often, is always helpful, as you never know when a connection might open a new door in your career.”

  • “ERP gives us exposure early in our careers to different parts of the company and connections to leaders in the company as well. Being able to move laterally in our career this early is a privilege that helps us immensely into our careers by picking up different skills, making new and solidified connections, and bringing it together to help us move forward in our careers. The development sessions are a great way to hear from people in the company to get an understanding from those who are higher up and hear their perspective.”

  • “ERP provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure and build skills across three distinct teams before transitioning into a more permanent role. In addition, the program’s strong reputation across the company helps facilitate connections with leaders in a variety of business units. Finally, the development sessions are a highlight of the program, bringing cohorts together to hear from senior leaders, build valuable skills, and form meaningful connections with others in the program.”

  • “The CORE Program continues to be a perfect place for young finance professionals to start their career. The exposure to several different industries, as well as ample opportunities to network and work on meaningful projects, is second to none. Comcast NBCUniversal, due to how unique of a company it is, is perfectly positioned for a rotational program like this. In addition, the ERP team has been supportive throughout the program, and I would recommend this experience to any college senior. Lastly, the cohort within and of itself is a tremendous place to grow strong professional and personal friendships.”

  • “I have been really enjoying the program and seeing the benefits of each development session once I return to my role. After each session, I feel energized, more prepared, and more knowledgeable, which helps me succeed in my day‑to‑day work. While there is uncertainty around where you will be rotating and living—I believe these challenges ultimately help me grow more adaptable and better prepared for change in the future.”
